Marili Koulolia Yoga
“Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.”
B.K.S Iyengar
About
My classes are focused on fluidity. An internal rhythm moves the body, the breath creates space and the mind aligns, bringing the awareness to the present moment, in order to fully experience all that is here and now. A guided meditation in motion, with slight grounding pauses, like the waves of the sea.
By creating a safe environment and offering guidance and support, students can safely experience their bodies explore their strengths and limitations and delve deeper into their patterns, so as to rediscover their selves, through the practice of yoga.
Movement has aways been a substantial part of my being, and the vehicle through which I experience and express my innemermost self. From a very young age I came in contact with classical dance, and spent years training in competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics. I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed my first vinyasa krama training in 2018, under the guidance of Panos Katsandris. I continue to deepen my practice by attending workshops and seminars and seeking wisdom from various esoteric traditions.
I also hold a BA in History, Archaeology and History of Art(UOA), and furthered my studies in Qualitative Research Methods.
